This research introduces a cost-effective converter for single-phase machines, aiming to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption in retrofit applications. Single-phase motors commonly found household appliances often suffer from low efficiency, resulting wasted energy. To tackle this problem, dedicated was proposed replace the existing capacitors improve motor performance. study presents proof of concept applications, discussing design methodology prototype evaluation. Additionally, cost analysis comparing three-phase is included. It aims demonstrate long-term savings improved converter. The findings highlight converter’s potential as promising solution enhancing decreasing costs
